Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited (KEPL) has completed the manufacturing and testing of its high pressure ring section type boiler feedwater pump with a 3.9 MW motor. The pumps have been shipped to Mirfa Independent Water and Power Company, Abu Dhabi, for its 1,400 MW combined cycle power generation plant. KEPL pump model 250×200 KBDH is an eight-stage pump designed for high pressure boiler feedwater application. This pump has a motor rating of 3,900 kW with a capacity of 740 m³ per hour and 1,380 metre differential head achieved at a speed of 2,974 revolutions per minute.
