The power transmission and distribution arm of Larsen & Toubro Limited has secured orders worth Rs 10.36 billion for undertaking electrification works in Bihar. The distribution projects are to be executed under the DeendayalUpadhyaya Gram JyotiYojana and the Integrated Power Development Scheme. The projects have been awarded by North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited to carry out electrification works in areas including Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Vaishali, Nalanda and Patna West.
