Elsewedy Electric and the NCC (Egypt) secure EGP 4.19-billion transmission line contract

Elsewedy Electric and the National Contracting Company (NCC) have won a contract worth EGP 4.19 billion to implement three electricity lines in Upper Egypt. Elsewedy Electric will implement two lines, the 180 km Akhmim-Sohag and 176 km Akhmim-East Qena lines, while NCC will implement a 70 km electricity line extending from East Qena to Naga Hammadi. The project work is expected to be completed by June 2017, and aims to include the new capacities that will be added throughout the year.
