PTC India Limited has collaborated with a multi-product special economic zone (SEZ) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for distributing 80 MW of power. The company, which has been accorded the status of “deemed licensee” for the distribution of power in the SEZ, will supply power through its subsidiary, PTC Retail. The partnership is expected to benefit the industries, which are charged high electricity tariffs by the state distribution utilities due to cross-subsidisation.
