The Arunachal Pradesh government intends to revive the 2,000 MW Subansiri HEP located at the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. The project, being developed by NHPC Limited, is stalled since December 2011 following the protests by anti-dam groups owing to downstream concerns.
