The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued the draft regulations for tariff determination from renewable energy sources and cross-border trade of electricity. The former regulations provide proposed tariff norms for the next control period (2017-20) and stakeholders can give comments on the same by March 8, 2017. Meanwhile, the latter regulations lay down a framework for transmission planning and connectivity for cross-border power trade and stakeholders can give their comments by March 16, 2017.
