Power Line takes a look at the comparative performance of discoms based on two key parameters – the frequency of power cuts and the duration of power cuts during the past six months. Based on the data sourced from the Ministry of Power’s URJA India portal, Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) has consistently been the top performer with the lowest number of power cuts per month. In terms of the duration of power cuts too, MGVCL was the top performer for four of the six months under review.
