The CERC has notified the draft Payment of Fees (First Amendment) Regulations, 2017. The draft amendment proposes a fee of Rs 25,000 per petition for a revision petition filed by any person against a district magistrate, commissioner of police or an authorised officer’s order. Besides, the draft proposes that no application fee would be payable by the central transmission utility for any application made while discharging its regulatory functions.
