Far East Cable Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Far East Holding Group, has received a contract worth CNY 307 million for the implementation of the 1,100 kV Changji-Guquan ultra high voltage direct current (UHVDC) project in China. The contract involves the construction of a 3,284 km long line connecting Changji in the Xinjiang region and Guquan in Anhui province. The line will cross the provinces of Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Henan and Anhui.
