The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved amendments to the Mega Power Policy, 2009. The CCEA has extended the time period for the submission of final mega certificates to tax authorities from 60 months from the date of import to 120 months. The extension has been granted to 25 provisional mega power projects.
