Tata Power has secured the distribution franchise contract for the Ajmer distribution circle in Rajasthan. The company has signed an agreement with Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited for electricity distribution in the city as a franchisee for 20 years. It has set up a special purpose vehicle, TP Ajmer Distribution, to carry out distribution operations in Ajmer.
