HPL Electric and Power Limited has strengthened its switchgear range by bringing in a new and upgraded line of its electrical-operated switches, the advanced version automatic load transfer switch (AV ATS). The new variant is simple and easy to use and has been designed keeping the safety requirements of new-age customers in mind. It is sophisticated, technologically advanced and compact in size, which helps in saving space in enclosures and panels. The insulation property of the material used is highly reliable, self-extinguishing with high thermal withstand properties and remains intact even in critical conditions. All live parts are shrouded, eliminating the possibility of casualties and electrical hazards. In terms of application, AV ATS is relevant for health-care, internet data centres, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, telecom central offices, process manufacturing, distribution power/load management, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and telecommunications. With nearly 50 per cent share of the manual changeover switches market, HPL Electric is one of the oldest manufacturers of low voltage switchgear in India. Over the years, the company has increased its presence across switchgear products in the industrial and residential segments.
