CERC determines fees and charges for registration and issuance of ESCerts

he Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), in a suo-motu proceeding, has determined the fees and charges for the registration and issuance of energy saving certificates (ESCerts). The commission has stated that the registration of designated consumers (DCs) will be accompanied by a one-time registration fee of Rs 15,000 per application. DCs that have already been issued ESCerts will pay a fee of Rs 5 per ESCert.
