GUVNL has floated two separate tenders for the procurement of 1,000 MW of power from wind and solar power projects through competitive bidding. The tenders have been floated for 500 MW of wind power projects and 500 MW of solar power projects. The last date for the submission of bids is July 10, 2017. The technical bids will be opened on July 11, 2017. This will be followed by an e-reverse auction on July 2017 and 2018 for the wind and solar tenders respectively.
