The Egyptian German Electric Manufacturing Company (EGEMAC) has won the construction contract for the 220/11 kV El-Nergis substation in Egypt. The company quoted the lowest bid of EGP 210 million. Affiliated to the Urban Communities Authority, the project is part of the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Energy’s five-year (2017-22) plan. It will strengthen and augment the transmission network in the district of Fifth Settlements. Construction is likely to be completed within a period of eight months.
