Poyry secures assignment for 600MW supercritical power plant from GLEDC, Philippines

The Global Luzon Energy Development Corporation (GLEDC), a unit of the Global Business Power Corporation (GBPC), one of the largest independent power producers in the southern region of the Philippines, has awarded a owner’s engineer assignment to Poyry for its 600 MW supercritical power plant in La Union, Luzon. As part of the assignment, Poyry will deliver technical advisory services to GLEDC for developing a cost competitive and reliable engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract. The coal-fired power plant will supply adequate and reliable power to its industrial, commercial and domestic customers.
