Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) has signed a mutual agreement with the Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) to jointly conduct energy audits in India. ERDA is a Vadodara-based testing and certification organisation with statutory authorisation and accreditation. During the period 2012-16, GIPCL has won several national-level awards from the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Ministry of Power for its accomplishments in energy conservation.
