Vietnam’s National Power Transmission Corporation commissions 220kV substation

State-owned Electricity of Vietnam’s transmission subsidiary, National Power Transmission Corporation, has commissioned the 220 kV Thai Thuy substation in Thai Binh Province. The VND 346.5 billion substation involved the installation of a 220/110/22 kV, 250 MVA transformer. It can also accommodate a reserve second transformer of 220/110/22 kV. The Thai Thuy substation will evacuate power from the Thai Binh TPP, meet the demand of regional load, and link the substation to the national power system.
