Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has signed an MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited for the distribution of energy-efficient appliances under the flagship Unnat Jeevan by Affordable LEDs and Appliances for All (UJALA) scheme. According to the agreement, these oil marketing companies will take up the distribution of LED bulbs, LED tube lights and energy-efficient fans from select retail outlets in the country.
