The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has notified the retail supply tariff schedule for 2017-18. The DERC has not made any change in energy charges for all categories. The fixed charges for consumers using up to 200 units with a 1 kW connection have been halved to Rs 20 per month from Rs 40 per month, while fixed charges for consumers using up to 400 units has been kept flat at Rs 40 per month for a 2 kW sanctioned load. In order to promote electric vehicles, a separate category has been created for charging stations with a tariff of Rs 5.50 per unit.
