Gunung Hydropower wins an E&D contract for a hydro electric project in Malaysia

Malaysian private energy company Gunung Hydropower Sdn Bhd has awarded an engineering and design contract to SNC Lavalin for the 10 MW Pulau Temelong hydroelectric project in Malaysia. The project is located on the Perak river in the state of Perak, within 20 kilometres of the Chenderoh hydroelectric and Kenering hydropower plants that are owned and operated by federal utility TNB. The scope of work will include full design and engineering covering tender engineering and drawings, detailed implementation schedule, capital cost estimates, cash flow and the tender design report. In addition, SNC-Lavalin will provide assistance to Gunung Hydropower in the tender evaluation, contract negotiation and award process.
