Indian engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major Larsen & Toubro has secured a contract from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) for substation works. The scope of the contract involves supply and construction of a 500/230 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substation and improvement works of two 230 kV GIS substations. The company has secured the contract from EGAT, along with a consortium partner.
