Adani Power Maharashtra Limited and Adani Power Rajasthan Limited have jointly secured 9.9 million tonnes of coal linkages for 25 years, that is, one-third of the total coal auctioned by Coal India Limited under SHAKTI. The two companies have committed to generate power at a discounted rate with discounts ranging from 1 paisa per unit to 4 paise per unit over their existing tariffs. The grade allocated to the companies ranges from G6 to G13.
