Elsewedy Electric for Trade & Distribution (EET&D), a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, has signed an EGP 437.6 million contract with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the construction of transmission lines in the country. The contract entails EPC of Phases II and III of the Sharq AI Owainat transmission line spanning 200 km in the New Valley governorate. EET&D will implement the project on a turnkey basis over a period of 10 months.
