China-based Hareon Solar Technology Company Limited and ReNew Power Ventures Private Limited have jointly commissioned a 172 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Telangana. Hareon Solar has provided more than 520,000 multicrystalline silicon solar modules for the project. The plant will be connected to the Dichpally substation in Telangana through a 220 kV transmission line and electricity generated by it will be sold to the Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana under a 25-year PPA.
