Azure Power has announced its foray into rural electrification through mini- and microgrids in Jharkhand. The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency has awarded projects for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation for five years of decentralised distributed solar PV plants, along with distribution networks. Azure Power won the project to electrify 320 households in 11 villages.
