Siemens and Taif Group signs a Euro 380 million contract to set up a 495 MW plant in Russia

Siemens has entered into a Euro 380 million contract with the Taif Group for the construction of a 495 MW combined cycle power plant in Tatarstan, Russia. The project is part of the Nizhnekamskneftekhim project. As part of the contract, Siemens will supply two gas turbines, one SST-600 steam turbine and power distribution equipment for the plant. The new plant is scheduled to be completed by May 2021.
