TTC Corp plans to begin construction for three solar projects aggregating 150 MW in Vietnam by May 2018. The plants will be located in the central and southern provinces of Vietnam and will require an investment of $132 million. This is part of the company’s vision to develop 600-700 MW of solar capacity by 2020 and 1 GW of capacity by 2025. To achieve this long-term goal, the company has partnered with the Armstrong South East Asia Clean Energy Fund and the International Financial Corporation, which together have a 36 per cent stake in TTC’s energy unit.
