JSW Energy Limited has signed PPAs aggregating 208 MW. This has resulted in an increase in the company’s long-term PPA proportion on a consolidated basis from 64.6 per cent to 69.3 per cent for the second quarter of 2017-18. The agreements include a 176 MW PPA with the Haryana Power Purchase Centre for power from the Karcham Wangtoo HEP of Himachal Baspa Power Company Limited and a 32 MW PPA under the group captive scheme to be supplied from the company’s Ratnagiri TPP. At present, JSW Energy operates 4,531 MW of power generation capacity in the country.
