Ashok Leyland Limited has signed a letter of intent with Israel-based Phinergy for securing a long-term arrangement for its electric vehicle (EV) projects in the commercial vehicle segment. Phinergy has developed technology solutions for the use of aluminium batteries in EVs and other applications. Ashok Leyland will use the technology provided by Phinergy to meet the demand for commercial EVs in the Indian market.
