Nexif Energy signs EPC contract with Korean companies for 110 MW cogeneration project in Thailand

Indonesian independent power producer Nexif Energy has signed an EPC contract with a consortium of Korean construction companies for a 110 MW cogeneration project in Rayong province, Thailand. The consortium includes Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Company Limited and SC Engineering Company Limited. As part of the contract, the consortium is responsible for the supply and erection of a General Electric 6FA gas turbine operating in combined mode with a Doosan DST G20 steam turbine. The power generated will be supplied to the Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand and industrial consumers in the country, under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
