The Department of Mechatronics, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, has signed an MoU with NORD Drivesystems Private Limited, India. The tie-up is targeted at sharing information and providing training opportunities for students. As a part of the NORD programme, a cut section model of helical bevel gear motor assembly has been presented to the college. These display models are aimed at providing hands-on experience to students and enhancing their technical knowledge. NORD has sponsored an automated conveyor belt, driven by a decentralised drive and a geared motor in the college. The company also held a service vehicle demo of various products to students as a part of the programme.
