Siemens Gamesa secures 96 MW of orders in China

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA has secured two contracts aggregating 96 MW from two utilities in China. As per the contracts, the company will deliver wind turbines aggregating 48 MW each to Datang and the General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) in 2018. The contract with Datang entails the supply and commissioning of 24 G114-2.0 MW turbines at the Yangshugou wind farm in Liaoning. Meanwhile, the contract with CGN involves the installation of 24 G97-2.0 MW turbines at the Wohushan wind farm in the eastern province of Shandong.
