Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned two solar power projects aggregating 150 MW at the Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka. A 100 MW project was commissioned in December 2017 while another 50 MW project was commissioned in January 2018. Both projects have 25 year-long PPAs with NTPC at a tariff of Rs 4.79 per unit (for 100 MW project) and Rs 4.84 per unit (for 50 MW project). TPREL’s installed operating capacity post the commissioning of the two projects stands at 1,664 MW.
