ERDA signs MoU with EESL

The Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) signed an MoU with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) on February 12, 2018 for a strategic partnership in the areas of quality assurance, training and skill development, energy audit and related areas. The synergy is expected to bring significant improvement in demand-side management of energy. ERDA, established in 1974, has been contributing to energy efficiency in the area through its three business verticals – testing and evaluation, field services, and research and development and expert services. It has also contributed significantly to the testing and evaluating of energy efficient distribution transformers, motors, LED lamps and other household appliances, and offers energy management services for power and process plants. In addition, ERDA has developed energy efficient induction motors of IE-4 class.
