Sunseap International Private Limited is set to collaborate with InfraCo Asia Development Private Limited for the development of a 168 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Vietnam. Both the companies are planning to form a JV, under which Sunseap will acquire the majority stake while Infraco will join as a minority partner and will provide funding for the development phase of the solar plant. The plant is expected to create 200 jobs during the construction phase and 30 long-term jobs thereafter. The partnership is in line with Vietnam’s plan to achieve a cumulative solar capacity of 850 MW by 2020 and 12 GW by 2030.
