Gamesa Renewable Energy has won two engineering, procurement and construction contracts for the setting up of 160 MW of solar capacity in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. As per the contracts, the company will build two large-scale solar power plants of 100 MW and 60 MW capacity respectively. The company will provide complete turnkey solutions such as infrastructure, engineering, design, erection and commissioning for both the plants. The projects are likely to be commissioned by March 2018.
