TPI Composites, Inc. (TPI), a US-based manufacturer of composite wind blades, has signed a multiyear supply agreement with Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems. Under the agreement, TPI will provide blades for the Vestas V150-4.2 MW wind turbine in China. The blades will be manufactured at TPI’s new facility in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, which is scheduled to start production by June 2019.
