Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL) has awarded the contract for civil works of the 1,000 MW Pakul Dul hydroelectric power project to a JV of Afcons Infrastructure Limited and Jaiprakash Associates Limited, at a cost of Rs 10.51 billion. CVPPPL is a JV of the Jammu & Kashmir State Power Development Corporation, NHPC Limited and PTC India Limited.
