Private players sign MoUs with Uttar Pradesh government at the Investors Summit 2018

Various private sector developers like ReNew Power Ventures Private Limited, Avaada Power Private Limited and Amplus Energy Solutions have signed MoUs with the Uttar Pradesh government at the recent Investors Summit 2018. While ReNew Power plans to invest Rs 80 billion for development of 1,200 MW of capacity in the state, Avaada Power would invest about Rs 100 billion to set up 1,600 MW of solar capacity and Amplus Energy would set up 500 MW of capacity. In addition, the Adani Group has committed an investment of Rs 350 billion across various sectors, including energy. Further, the Mahindra Group has committed an investment of Rs 2 billion and plans to set up an EV manufacturing facility in the state.
