BHEL has secured a contract worth Rs 10.34 billion from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for setting up a gas turbine-based captive power plant at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project has been secured on a lump sum turnkey basis under international competitive bidding and is being set up to meet the requirement for HPCL’s expansion project.
