NTPC Limited has commissioned the third 800 MW unit of the 2,400 MW Kudgi super thermal power station in Karnataka. Recently, it also commissioned an 8 MW small hydropower project at Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh. With this, the total capacity of the company stands at 45,300 MW, while that of the NTPC Group stands at 52,191 MW. NTPC plans to become a 130 GW power generation company by 2032.
