The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited bids for setting up 3 GW of interstate transmission system-connected solar power projects across different locations in the country. The solar PV projects will be implemented on a BOO basis. The successful bidders would enter into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with SECI for 25 years at a fixed tariff of Rs 2.93 kWh. The successful bidders would be chosen through an e-bidding process followed by an e-reverse auction process. The last date for bid submission is April 27, 2018.
