The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company has issued a request for qualification for a 1,200 MW clean coal-fired independent power project (IPP) in Duqm, Oman. This will be the first IPP in the country to be based on clean coal technology and will be developed as a private sector project. The due date for submission of the statements of qualifications is June 7, 2018.
