HPL Electric and Power Limited has installed smart lighting solutions in Bhopal to support the Smart Cities initiative. As a part of this project, HPL has completed the installation of over 20,000 smart LED lights and 400 centralised control monitoring system panels with 6LoWPAN communication technology. The technology helps in controlling and monitoring the street lighting system and is expected to result in lower servicing costs.
