Gulf Energy signs clean coal technology agreement with GE

Gulf Energy has entered into a clean coal technology agreement with General Electric (GE). Under the agreement, GE will acquire equity stake in Gulf Energy’s 1,050 MW Lamu coal-based power plant (Amu Power). In addition, GE will design, manufacture and deliver its ultra-supercritical clean coal technology components (boilers and steam turbine generators) and air quality control systems for the power plant.
