The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency has agreed to provide a loan guarantee of $73 million for the development of three wind farm projects in South Africa, with an aggregate capacity of 360 MW. The assistance will be earmarked for construction and O&M of the Noupoort, Khobab and Loeriesfontein wind farm projects. These projects will help diversify the country’s energy mix and benefit the local communities.
