Siemens Gamesa to deliver turbines for two wind power projects in Japan

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has signed an agreement with the Tokyu Land Corporation for two wind power projects in Japan, with an aggregate capacity of 74.8 MW. As per the agreement, SGRE will supply 22 wind turbines, which will be installed at the wind farms in Hokkaido. The company will also be responsible for O&M at these facilities for a period of 20 years. The delivery of turbines is expected to be completed by 2019.
