Solar power projects totaling over 53 MW commissioned in Japan

Clean energy developer Vena Energy has commissioned a 41 MW solar power project in Yaita City, Japan. The project is expected to generate 47,150 MWh of electricity annually and will supply power to 8,938 households in the region. In a separate development, Swiss independent power producer Etrion Corporation has commissioned the 13.2 MW Komatsu utility-scale solar photovoltaic project on Japan’s Honshu island. The project is expected to produce approximately 14.2 GWh of solar power per year.
