L&T synchronises Unit-3 of Khandwa TPP in Madhya Pradesh

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has synchronised Unit 3 of the 1,320 MW Shree Singaji thermal power plant in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh within a period of 40 months. The supercritical plant has been developed by Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited. The contract was awarded to L&T on December 31, 2014, on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis and the scope of work included design, engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of Units 3 and 4 (Stage II) of the thermal power plant.
